GD Jones Chooses TEX for New Tanker Build.

Helping GD Jones modernise a new tanker build with a TEX electronic meter system and temperature compensation.

When GD Jones commissioned a new mini three-pot tanker from Morrow Tankers, they wanted a metering solution that would provide greater visibility, improved operational control and a platform for future growth. Having previously used alternative systems across their fleet, this project marked the company’s first installation of a TEX electronic meter system from Sampi. Working closely with both GD Jones and Morrow Tankers, Alpeco supplied and integrated a TEX system complete with electronic temperature compensation, delivering a modern, connected solution ready for the demands of today’s fuel distribution industry.

The challenge.

As part of a new tanker build, GD Jones wanted to:
