Calibration.

We understand that vehicle or equipment downtime costs you money, which is why our commitment to after-sales service and support is regarded as one of the strongest in the industry. Our service engineers are available to carry out in-field servicing, repair work and calibration anywhere in the UK. Whether you need technical advice over the telephone or a visit from an experienced engineer, our team is on hand to provide practical, reliable support when you need it.
Our engineers are highly experienced in the calibration of fuel flow meters, not only for our recommended Liquid Controls Meters, but also for meters from a wide range of manufacturers including Satam, Avery Hardoll, Contrec, Mechtronic, Emco Wheaton, Honeywell and Neptune.
Regular and Ad-hoc Fuel Flow Meter Calibration and Servicing.
To ensure continued accuracy, it is recommended that fuel tanker meters are calibrated annually. Alpeco offers both ad-hoc calibration services and tailored annual service contracts, depending on customer requirements.
Annual service contracts include a thorough service of all Alpeco-derived equipment installed on the vehicle or system, helping to prevent issues before they arise. Following calibration, we are able to seal equipment for public use where required.
All Alpeco reference meters follow the same stringent guidelines applied to Trading Standards instruments, ensuring the highest levels of accuracy and confidence in measurement.
Bulk Fuel Meter Calibration.
Alpeco was the first UK company to achieve self-verification status for the sealing of Bulk Fuel Metering systems designed for public use. The Liquid Controls Meters supplied by Alpeco have an outstanding industry-wide reputation for accuracy and reliability.
As a result, Alpeco is uniquely able to use its own flow meters for Bulk Fuel Meter testing, providing customers with a trusted and proven calibration process backed by decades of experience.
Additional Calibration Services.
Alpeco’s calibration services extend beyond standard fuel flow meters and include volumetric proving for small quantity pre-settable installations, calibration by mass or weight, and the proving of LPG meters using dedicated Liquid Controls Meters. We also offer calibration services for gantry loading meters, which can be incorporated into a wider service agreement where required.
Tank Truck Servicing.
On-site Servicing
Our service department has built a strong reputation for on-site repair and calibration of tank truck equipment and Bottom Loading Skids. This enables downtime to be minimised while ensuring equipment remains compliant and fully operational.
In-house Servicing
In addition to on-site support, we provide comprehensive in-house repair and diagnostic services. This option is ideal for customers who prefer to carry out their own repairs, including work on diesel and LPG Flow Meters, supported by Alpeco’s technical expertise.
Bespoke Training.
Alpeco also designs and delivers bespoke training programmes covering all aspects of fuel tanker servicing and preventative maintenance. Training is delivered at our premises in Aylesbury, UK, and can be tailored to suit the experience level and operational needs of your team.
