We don’t need to tell you that additives are added to fuel tankers for several key reasons, each aimed at enhancing fuel performance, protecting engine components, and ensuring environmental compliance.

Here’s how it works (and there are two ways to do it, with and without a delivery nozzle)
Without a delivery nozzle
Step 1
Attach ADTUBE to the product return spout.
Step 2
Open the product return valve using the tanker’s product return controls. Pour in your chosen additive.
Step 3
Attach the 2” cap to ADTUBE. Operate the blow down function on the product return for 5 to 10 seconds.
Step 4
Remove the cap and check the ADTUBE is clear, if not repeat the last step. If your product return system has a plastic sight glass it is advised to connect the delivery hose and perform a product return of 100 litres to flush the additive out of the valve. Remove the ADTUBE from the product return spout. Now set your tanker up for the delivery.
With a delivery nozzle
Step 1
Attach ADTUBE to the product return spout.
Step 2
Open the product return valve using the tanker’s product return controls. Pour in your chosen additive.
Step 3
Attach delivery nozzle to the ADTUBE and perform a product return of 200 litres to mix the additive into the fuel. Blow down the product return for 5 second more than your system states to clear the extra volume.
Step 4
Remove the nozzle and check the ADTUBE is clear, if not replace the nozzle and blow down again. Once clear remove the ADTUBE from the product return spout.
Now set your tanker up for the delivery.
