Our service engineers are highly experienced in the calibration of fuel flow meters, not only on our recommended Liquid Control meters but also flow meters from Satam, Avery Hardoll, Contrec, Mechtronic, Emco Wheaton, Honeywell and Neptune to name just a few.
It is recommended to have fuel tanker meters calibrated on a yearly basis to ensure that they continue to give the correct measure. Alpeco is able to offer this service on a ‘when required’ basis, or a tailored yearly service contract is available, which also includes a thorough service to all Alpeco derived equipment on the customer’s installation. Alpeco is then able to seal the equipment for public use.
All Alpeco reference meters follow the same stringent guidelines as applied to all Trading Standards instruments to ensure the utmost accuracy.
Alpeco was the first UK company to achieve self-verification status for the sealing of bulk fuel metering systems designed for public use. The Liquid Controls meter, as supplied by Alpeco, has an enviable industry-wide reputation which means that Alpeco is the only company able to use their own flow meters for bulk fuel meter testing, such is the accuracy and reliability of the Liquid Controls product.
Alpeco’s meter calibration service also extends to volumetric proving (for small quantity presettable installations), calibration by mass/weight and the proving of LPG meters, again using a Liquid Controls dedicated meter.
Finally Alpeco can also offer a calibration service for gantry loading meters. This also has the added benefit of being included in any service agreement, if required.
